Come join the Woodturning fun with FWCWT

FWCWT is an American Association of Woodturners-associated club dedicated to the furthering of the craft of woodturning in Pinellas County, FL and surrounding areas.

For the hotter months of June, July and August we will meet at the Dunedin Fine Arts Center at 1143 Michigan Blvd, Dunedin, FL 34698.

Meetings typically include a short business session, followed by a “Show and Tell” session for members to display and explain their work, followed by either a live demonstration or a large TV professional video presentation on a topic of interest to woodturners to provide education in the craft of woodturning, and award of door prizes.

In addition to the meetings, FWCWT supports four local charities by providing member-turned items, including: wig stands for Moffitt Cancer Center patients, Beads of Courage© boxes for patients at All Children’s Hospital, wooden bowls for sale by the empty bowls program and Christmas ornaments for Pinellas ARC’s annual Festival of Trees program.

Annually, the club also hosts the “Patrick Sikes Iron Turner Challenge”. See the Iron Turner Challenge page for more information.
